Its declarative model enabled Santander to manage resources across multiple cloud providers with a consistent approach.     To manage the data plane claims, Santander employed ArgoCD, an open-source, declarative, GitOps continuous delivery tool for Kubernetes. ArgoCD allowed for real-time synchronization between the infrastructures current state and its desired configuration.

    By integrating ArgoCD into the Catalyst platform, Santander achieved substantial gains in operational efficiency. The tool reduced the need for manual oversight, allowing teams to focus on higher-value tasks. This automation also minimized the risk of configuration drift, which is a common challenge in large-scale infrastructure management.
